Amigurumi Par-tay

Been awhile hasn't it?  Well HELLO there, I missed you dear reader.

That is, pretending that anyone actually reads this.

So I have a new 'thing,' yep.  Another craft thing.

Amigurumi.

It came about like this:

I went with my mom to a couple of yarn stores to sell my stitch markers (which will soon be up for sale on Etsy) and I sold quite a few!  We passed by a book display and I looked down to see this book with the most ADORABLE animals on the front cover.  And my mom said they were crochet and that she had all the supplies, so I bought the book and I'm hooked!

There are all kinds of super cute things in that book, and so many cute patterns online for free!  I've even gotten my favorite mother in law making them with me.  It's so much fun and they're all SUPER cute.

So here are a few things I've made...

This first photo is of a baby turtle and a little snail from Ana Paula's book:

And these are called Grumpies, the pattern is available free online.  I added my own faces...

And my absolute favorite thing I've made so far, also from the book is this ADORABLE bear wearing pajamas....

Also on a side note,
If you ever make a bear in light pink with a nose that's a little too big, people will call it a pig.
My first bear was a pig, and then the dogs ripped it up. =)  Welcome to my world...
